Hope’s Electro-Coat (E-Coat) and Polyurethane Finishing Process

Hope’s Windows, Inc. has partnered with PPG Industries, the world leaders in coating technology to offer a finishing system with superior durability and performance.

The finishing system for all Hope’s steel windows and doors includes an electro-deposited e-coat epoxy prime paint application which occurs during a 15 stage PPG Powercron® 8000 process.  Following the e-coat application, all steel surfaces receive a PPG/Matthews two-component polyurethane finish paint.

Because color is an important element in achieving overall design, Hope’s offers a selection of 50,000 standard metallic and matte finishes.  We can create custom colors to meet a client’s specific project requirement including faux hand applied finishes.
